Turn left after 'The Tree' Relaxation

Rosedale valley is 9 miles North West of Pickering. Take the A170 west from
Pickering, then turn North at Wrelton, through Cropton and on to Rosedale
Abbey. Once arriving in Rosedale Abbey, take the CASTLETON road North out of
the village.
Straight Ahead (Motobike might have gone)
After 1 mile take the Daleside Road, shown on sign post as
‘Rosedale East Only’ junction directly ahead, the road with the motorbike in the photograph.

Follow this for another mile, past ‘School Row’ Cottages right
side, through ‘Hill Cottages’, and then turn left just past CREAM
PAINTED HOUSE (The Tree), into the private lane. We are first on the right.
Turn left after 'The Tree' Relaxation
From Castleton take the road to Rosedale and Kirkbymoorside. After about four
miles you will see Ralphs cross on the right, after which take the left turn to
‘Rosedale Abbey’. Follow the road for about 4½ miles, at the
junction signpost turn right
‘Rosedale East Only’ and follow the road until arriving at the CREAM PAINTED HOUSE (The Tree),
then turn left down the lane.
